A while back I entered another stuffie swap, and my partner, who also happens to be a friend loves japanese things (it's a getaway when her life is difficult)
I knew I have come across those japanese dolls called kokeshi before and looked them up again. I lvoe the design, and the colours and the cuteness so I started working on the design. Let me tell you, it was not easy to make the base.
The base is felt, as the hair, the kimono was difficult to plan, ended up changing the design as I sewed it on. In the end I added the pins and roses, which I made myself, and sewed on the face. I did embroider a design on the kimono, based on my friends wish, plants but not flowers and blueish colours.

Monster Stuffie
I have wanted to post this small project for a while but I always seemed to forget, and other times I was just lazy.
This monster was created for a swap over at craftster, my partner had several requests, two of them were a cute monster or a bat, I decided to combine them.
The body from the horns to the bottom is 6 cm, just above 2,5". I made the wings out of leather and wire and attached fake fur on the back.
The design was pretty simple, once I got started, but sewing the little monster was difficult, especially with the long arms and legs. I love the wings the most, the leather felt really amazing and the wire made them really easy to bend. And I added glow-in-the-dark paint to the eye and mouth, as you can see :D
My baby brother requested a monster as well, it has to be blue with wings :D so I'm sure this won't be my last monster.

Lunar eclipse inspired journal and trinket box
Not too long ago I joined a star swap, and my partner had different requests. I loved the swap and my partner, we had such great communication.
She told me she wanted to make a visual journal so I made her a journal. This is the first journal I have made but I'm pretty happy about it. I used some night sky fabric to cover the book and punched a lot of holes in the fake leather I bought a while back, those wholes was time consuming but I loved it. I added some beads to the spine but I forgot to take a picture before I sent the book.
I also made her a trinket box with her name and filled it with 100 lucky starts (I counted them 4 times) and one larger painted star. The trinket box sadly got broken in the mail but she managed to fix it.
